BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - Coming off his first round 74, Maddalena kept things going into his final round at the Lou Collins Memorial with another strong round of 77 en route to finishing in a tie for 21st in the individual standings.

"We got some more consistent play today from Connor, and we got the expected good round from sophomore Jake Hinkle," Head Coach Jordan McArleton said.  "Moving forward from here, we are looking to make a good start to the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association season."

An improvement from Friday's first round, Hinkle went out and posted a solid round of 77. Looking forward to the start of the MIAA season, the Britons are looking very strong in hoping for one of those four spots to the spring qualifier. They also got some solid play out of Jim Chapman (82-82) and Matt Falls (87-82) from the weekend.

Albion will get conference play started next weekend when they travel to Angola, Ind. and take on Zollner Golf Course.
