ADRIAN, Mich. – Dominic Hamper scored goals 36 seconds apart in the first minute and a half and the Albion College men's lacrosse team was off and running to a 14-5 victory over Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival Adrian College Tuesday night.

Drew Harm and Alec Palmer tacked on goals as Albion led, 4-1, at the end of the first quarter

Jacob Swift and Nicolas Bowman scored and Harm added two more as Albion extended the lead to 8-2 late in the second quarter.

Harm finished the night with four goals on nine shots. Hamper put six points on the deck with three goals (his first hat trick of the season) and three assists.

Paul Lewis, Harrison Palmer and Scott Shepard also scored for the Britons.

First-year goalkeeper Trevor McManus stopped 70 percent of the shots he faced before giving way to Brandon Tata midway through the fourth quarter.

Cody Schmitt scored two goals for Adrian.

Albion, 8-3 overall and 2-0 against MIAA rivals, is preparing for a Saturday afternoon contest at Alma College.
