Britons Push Calvin in Men's Tennis Match

Match Scores

ALBION, Mich. - Eric Guindi and Tucker Blake won their singles matches and there were a couple of interesting doubles contests, but Albion College did not have enough to hand Calvin College its first loss against a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival. Calvin walked out of the Ungrodt Tennis Center with a 7-2 victory.

The top two doubles matches were close. Blake and Guindi lost the No. 1 match in a tiebreaker and Jonathan Gurnee and Aaron Stanley were defeated, 9-7, in the No. 2 match.

Gurnee extended the first set of the No. 1 singles match to a tiebreaker. He went on to lose the match in straight sets.

Albion completes the regular season Tuesday with a home match against Trine University.
