ALMA, Mich. – Madison Bowen and Megan Moco produced rounds of 88 at Pine River Country Club in the fourth Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association jamboree leading to a team score of 366.

With 36 holes still left to play, the Britons are playing catch up to Trine who holds down the fourth and final position to the spring qualifier.

"We continue to be really close to all of our rivals, but we made too many mental errors in trying to finish rounds today. All we can do now is to take each shot one at a time and try to have each player do their job," Head Coach Jordan McArleton said.

Madison Kroetsch and Kiley Flynn also contributed to the team today with rounds of 92 and 96, respectively.

"It was a disappointment to finish where we did today, but we still haven't remotely played to our potential yet, so there's lot of room to move up," McArleton added.

There was a three-way tie for low honors with Laura Basco (Olivet College), Megan Klintworth (Hope College), and Julia DeBelly (Trine University) all producing rounds of 76.

Hope College and Saint Mary's College shared the low rounds of the day at 321 with Olivet College just a stroke behind at 322.

The league teams will gather at the Bedford Valley Country Club Friday and Saturday for the 36-hole fall finale.
