Moco Ties For Third In MIAA Women's Golf Jamboree

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Megan Moco produced a round of 81 at the Thornapple Pointe Golf Course Wednesday – one stroke off her season best score – in the third Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Women's Golf Jamboree of the season.

The Albion College junior from Grosse Ile tied for third in the individual standings. Megan Klintworth, representing Hope College, had the round of the day with a 74, and Olivet College's Nicole Deweyert was second with a round of 78.

Albion was seventh among teams with a 361 total. Madison Kroetsch tied for 13th with a round of 86. Madison Bowen (94) and Sydney Cohn (100) also contributed to the team score.

The Britons finished two strokes behind Trine University for sixth and five strokes behind Calvin College for fifth place.

Hope turned in the low team score with a 330 total. Saint Mary's College (340) was second, followed by Alma College (343) and Olivet (345).

MIAA teams will gather Saturday for a round at Adrian's Lenawee Country Club.
