Hurlburt Pressured At Adrian

ADRIAN, Mich. – First-year goalkeeper Mackenzie Hurlburt stopped 11 shots Saturday as she was constantly pressured in Albion College's 7-0 loss to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival Adrian College.

Erin Weide scored three goals, Alanna Chambry produced two goals, and Sam Barker contributed a goal and an assist for the Bulldogs.

Weide, who now has seven goals on the season, scored on three of the four shots she placed on goal. Barker was Adrain's most active offensive player, taking nine of the Bulldogs' 33 shots. Taylor Miller, who did not score, placed three of her six shots on goal.

The Albion offense generated four shots, placing three on goal. Caroline Eagan and Lindsey Lubanski finished with two shots apiece.

Albion returns home Wednesday for a 4 p.m. match against Kalamazoo at Alumni Field.
