Why Ang chose Albion College? -I choose Albion for the size of the school, the location of the school, and because I felt it would help me develop relationships with my coaches, classmates, and professors I may not have ever done at a larger school. I also still wanted to participate in sports in college while still having a focus on my education.

What is Ang's favorite thing about the Albion College Track and Field team? -I like the team atmosphere the most. I enjoy feeling like a family. I have a place to wear my bandannas.

What is Ang's favorite travel/competition story? -My favorite competition story was when I was finally able to PR in high jump during Championships last year. I was all stressed out and nervous because high jump was my first event for the day, and long jump was starting during high jump. I was worried about checking in and getting my jumps in for long jump, but high jump was nearing the end. I was running back and forth a lot, but I was able to get a good final jump in for high jump before long jump started. As I was running up to the bar for my last jump to clear a height, I just got this sudden boost of energy and felt like I just soared over the bar. I cannot express the pure joy I felt as I landing the pit knowing that I had cleared 5' 1/2". I jumped right up, ran over Hayden Smith, who was my high jump coach the following season, and gave him one of the biggest hugs ever. There was nothing that could happen that day to take the smile off of my face. That is one of my favorite competition stories.
