Marie Pregenzer and Lauren Outwater combined on a block and Pregenzer served up her sixth ace of the night as Albion gained a 13-11 lead in the fifth set. Olivet rallied to tie the score at 13, but a service error pushed Albion to match point and the Britons won the match on an attack error.

Thurner terminated 15 points, matching her second-highest total in a match this season. Taylor Rosenthal contributed 12 kills and five blocks assists, Pregenzer finished with 11 kills and six block assists, and setter Ami Milligan achieved her 10th double-double of the season with 42 assists and 22 digs.
