Tom Hall enters his second season as the Britons' head men's wrestling coach in 2025-26.
During his first season at the helm in 2024-25, Hall guided the Britons to an eighth-place finish at NCAA Regionals. Additionally, three Britons earned All-MIAA honors which included Zak Knapp (174), Owen McDaniel (184) and CJ Krum (285). Krum also received the conference's Senior Sportsman of the Year award and finished fourth at NCAA Regionals.
Hall came to Albion after serving as the head men's wrestling coach at Trine for six seasons from 2018-24. He has mentored a number of NCAA Regional placers while with the Thunder, and Nick Miller and Ethan Simmons were named Scholar All-Americans in his first season as head coach.
In his first season at the helm, Trine finished with a 6-5 record in dual meet competition and placed in a three-way tie for second in the MIAA in wrestling's return as a conference-sponsored sport after a 35-year hiatus.Â
At the annual regional meet, the Thunder placed sixth overall and had four competitors place in their respective weight classes led by Nick Miller who placed a team-best fourth at 174-pounds. Individually, six wrestlers ended the year with 10 or more wins, including two with over 20 victories.
From 2016-18, Hall served as an assistant coach at Trine before being promoted to head coach.
Hall wrestled collegiately at Olivet, where he was a two-time NCAA Regional placer and an NWCA Scholar All-American. While with the Comets, Hall also earned Division III All-America honors and was a two-time captain. He graduated from Olivet in 2016 with a degree in exercise science.
A native of South Boardman, Mich., Hall was a three-time MHSAA state qualifier at Fife Lake Forest Area High School. His top performance in the state meet included a third-place finish. Hall graduated from Fife Lake Forest Area in 2012.
