2014: His three saves in league play tied him for second-most among Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association pitchers...Picked up saves in the first game of the home doubleheader against Trine (a run on two hits and a walk), in the home doubleheader against Kalamazoo (scoreless inning), and in the second game of the home doubleheader against Calvin (scoreless inning).
2013: Albion’s best arm out of the bullpen, finishing his first season at the collegiate level with a 1.76 ERA in 14 appearances...Pitched a perfect seventh inning in the first game of the March 24 doubleheader vs. Kalamazoo to gain his only save of the season...Made a remarkable debut with three strikeouts in two innings in a spring break game against Waynesburg
Prior to Albion: A four-year varsity player at Johannesburg-Lewiston High School who was a three-time Ski Valley Conference performer….His 2012 awards included being named the Gaylord Herald Times’ Player of the Year and all-state…A three-year varsity athlete in basketball and a two-year varsity performer in football, he was one of Johannesburg-Lewiston’s Athletes of the Year in 2012…Two-time winner of the Ski Valley Conference Academics Award…Inducted into the school’s National Honor Society.
