ALBION, Mich. – Josh McGarry and Zach McKenzie extended their singles opponents to three sets, but they were unable to break through as Albion College wound up with a 7-0 loss to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rival Adrian College in men's tennis.
Playing at No. 3 singles, McGarry took the first set from Brandon Brom in a tiebreaker. Brom took the second set, 6-1, and won the match deciding tiebreaker, 11-9.
At No. 4 singles, McKenzie rallied for a 6-3 win in the second set, but Mitchel Bulger came back with a 6-1 score in the third set.
